About this Programme
Breast cancer is a global health concern affecting millions of lives each year, but knowledge is our most potent weapon in the fight against it. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry, breast cancer remains the most common cancer diagnosed in females, and the leading cause of cancer death in women in Singapore*. This year’s theme is ‘Keeping Her in The Picture’, a call to everyone to look out for the well-being of the important women in their lives.
In light of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), this talk is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and aims to shed light on the importance of early detection, offer support to those affected by breast cancer, and promote a community of unity and strength.
You will gain a deeper understanding of breast cancer from experienced radiologists and learn about the latest advancements in detection, treatment options, and the importance of early intervention. You will also discover the significance of breast health and how early awareness and regular screenings play a vital role. Learn about self-examinations, risk factors, and steps to maintain breast wellness.
