About Kalpavriksha Fine Arts


Kalpavriksha Fine Arts (Limited) (KFA), established in 2016, is a non-profit arts organisation rooted in the Hindu mythological concept of “Kalpavriksha” – the ‘tree of fulfillment.’ Founded by Meera Balasubramanian, Sruti Pegatraju, and Shruthi Ramesh, accomplished Bharatanatyam dancers, KFA infuses traditional arts with a spirit of joy and humility.


With a focus on the youth perspective in Singapore’s Indian dance scene, KFA has presented over 15 productions in its seven-year journey, earning recognition from the National Arts Council and the community.


Beyond performances, KFA trains 200 students, actively engaging the youth in activities, events, and forums to redefine their role in preserving cultural heritage. Kalpavriksha Fine Arts leaves a legacy of bridging tradition with youthful zeal, enriching the cultural tapestry of Singapore.
