The move to secondary school means a number of major changes for all children. While most children are able to cope and get accustomed to them, some may struggle and may require additional support. For a few, lack of preparation or support can result in them floundering and facing difficulties such as lack of confidence, inability to make new friends and adjusting to the new academic curriculum. This could negatively affect them throughout their remaining secondary school days.
