Witness how Little India transforms its streets to honour this celebration.  \n  \nThe trail ends with a village-inspired vegetarian banana leaf lunch\, bringing the flavours of the harvest straight to your table. The meal will be at Anandha Bhavan Restaurant. \n  \nAdmission fees (if any): $30 \n  \nMenu Items \n\n⁠Sakkarai Pongal (Sweet Pongal) & Ven Pongal (Savoury Pongal): Pongal is a dish of rice cooked in boiling milk.\nSambar: A lentil-based vegetable stew or spiced curry\, flavoured with a unique blend of spices and a tangy tamarind broth.\nRasam: A spicy South Indian soup-like dish.\nYogurt\nKootu: A combination of vegetables and lentils that form the dish\nPoriyals: A sauteed or stir-fried vegetables and greens\nVadai: A savoury\, deep-fried snack\, primarily made from soaked and ground lentils\nAppalam: Thin\, crisp\, disc-shaped type of papadum\, that is made from lentil or rice flour\nPickles & Chutneys\n⁠Lime Drink\n\n\nPlease do note that dairy\, peanuts and wheat may be present in the meal\, and we are unable to cater for any food allergies. \n  \nThings to note:  \n\nTrail participants are to arrive at IHC at least 15 minutes earlier for registration.\nIn case of wet weather\, please bring along a poncho/umbrella.\nOnly ticket holders will be allowed on the trail.\nOne Admission ticket admits one participant for the trail.\n\n\n  \nEvent Disclaimer \n\nOne Admission ticket permits 1 pax\, regardless of age. \nBy agreeing to join the workshop\, each participant shall be responsible for any injury\, loss\, or damage due to carelessness or other actions on his/her part or that of the children under his/her charge.\nThe workshop will start on time\, so do come 15 minutes before. \nPhotographs may be taken for marketing and publicity purposes.\nWe do not accept cash payment.\nNo refunds or exchanges of tickets are allowed under any circumstances\, except in the event of workshop cancellation by IHC.\nPlease present your electronic or printed ticket(s) to join this workshop.\nWe are unable to cater to walk-in registrations.\nIf you are unable to locate the museum by the event’s start time\, please keep your phone on standby so we can contact you for further instructions.\nIf the workshop has to be cancelled due to unforeseen reasons\, participants will be informed via email (a few days before the workshop) and SMS (2 hours before the workshop).\nParticipants will receive a full refund in case of workshop cancellation via Peatix.
