indBOX Film Festival

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary, and in the spirit of gotong-royong— the community-driven approach that forms the foundation of our nation—SITFE (Singapore Indian Theatre and Film Explorers) proudly presents indBOX FILM FESTIVAL (iBFF), World’s First Indian Film Festival dedicated to celebrating Singapore’s Indian Cinema. This festival is dedicated to paying homage to, and celebrating, Indian narratives made exclusively by Singaporean filmmakers. Through this initiative, we aim to highlight the significant role that Indian stories play in Singapore’s multicultural tapestry and contribute to our national cultural identity.

The Festival

The inaugural edition of this festival will feature a comprehensive programme of activities designed to engage and inspire audiences from all walks of life. In addition to indoor and outdoor film screenings, the festival will host interactive talks, practical workshops, hands-on masterclasses, and expert-led panel discussions. These events will provide invaluable insights into the role of film as a storytelling medium, a cultural vessel, and a bridge connecting generations.
