About this Programme

Join us in learning and appreciating the traditional art form of Parai Isai this October for our post-PSLE workshops! The Parai is one of the oldest drums used in India, especially in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is also known as the mother of Indian drums and is considered one of the symbols of Tamil culture.

Fees: Fully subsidised for eligible participants with a PCI of $1000 and below.

Eligibility: Open to all Indian children aged 11 to 12, who are Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents.
