We are excited to announce that the SIET SINDA Charity Golf 2024 event is back! This year, join us on Friday, 23 August 2024, at the beautiful Sembawang Country Club for a day filled with golf, camaraderie, and the joy of giving. The event will culminate in an evening dinner, featuring lucky draw prizes, and tournament awards, all generously sponsored by our kind donors.

 

Since its inception in 2007, the SIET (Singapore Indian Education Trust) Charity Golf event has been a beacon of hope for young Indian students striving to achieve their educational dreams. With the support of over 100 passionate golfers each year, we have raised more than $1,000,000, touching countless lives and creating brighter futures.

 

Founded in 1967 by the visionary trade unionist G Kandasamy, SIET is dedicated to supporting needy and deserving Singaporean Indian students. Through bursaries and interest-free loans, we empower over 200 students annually, from ITE to tertiary levels, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations without the burden of financial constraints.

 

The SIET Charity Golf event uniquely combines a love for golf with a deep commitment to giving back. It was initiated by a group of golf enthusiasts who wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people facing financial challenges. By participating, you are not just enjoying a day on the greens, but also contributing to a noble cause that helps financially needy children and gives them an opportunity to progress in life through education.
