Mallika Naguran writes children’s stories, adult fiction and the occasional poetry. Born and raised in Singapore, her first poem was published by The Nation, now defunct. Thrilled at receiving a 10 cheque from that newspaper, Naguran at the age of 11 dreamed of becoming a fiction writer. Decades after working as a corporate executive and environmentalist, Naguran is now dedicated to her first love — writing.
Apart from the Ramayana, Mallika’s other book Peter Pan will be out this September, also by WS Education.
Naguran’s short stories will be published by Penguin Random House SEA by the end of 2021.
