The SIET-SINDA Charity Golf 2025, held on 22 August at Warren Golf & Country Club, raised more than $500,000 to support the educational aspirations of needy students.
With the 2025 proceeds and matching contributions from the Tote Board, the cumulative total raised through the initiative now stands at close to, or above, $3 million. The additional funding will enable SIET and SINDA to continue extending assistance to students in the coming years.
The event brought together participants from the business community, organisations, and individuals to contribute towards bursaries, grants, and interest-free loans administered by the Singapore Indian Education Trust (SIET) in partnership with SINDA.

Since its inception in 2009, the annual event had raised over $2.6 million, prior to this year’s edition. Funds collected have gone towards supporting students across a range of institutions, from the Institute of Technical Education to universities, providing financial assistance to those in need of educational support.
The event has become a regular fixture in the community calendar, providing a consistent funding stream for educational support programmes. According to the organisers, the funds raised ensure that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from pursuing their academic goals.
Chairman of SIET-SINDA Charity Golf 2025, Mr T Shanmugaratnam, said: “The success of the SIET–SINDA Charity Golf 2025 is a shining reminder of what we can achieve together. This event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our youth volunteers, generous donors, spirited golfers, and our kind sponsors of goody bags, meals, and refreshments.”
“Each of you played a part in turning a round of golf into a powerful force for education and community upliftment. On behalf of SIET and SINDA, thank you for walking this journey with us, your contribution will create opportunities and transform lives for years to come,” he added.
